Private Hire And Events
Welcome to Old Palace, where everyone gets treated like royalty. We offer private hire of our whole venue (80 people), half venue (30-40 people) and also our exclusive private function space The Edmund Room (8-25 people) along with areas of our beer garden throughout the sunny months. We cater for Birthday celebrations, Weddings, Wakes, Christenings or any other event you may wish to hold. Please contact us or pop in for more info.
Events
We hold many events through the year, BBQ’s in the summer, themed food nights, cider and spritz festivals and many more fun things for your social calendar. Holding regular live music nights, from independent bands, to our resident live singer monthly. Events will be advertised though social media, here on the website and within our pub.

I went in to the pub for the first time today and it was lovely! Such a quaint pub, really traditional and charming. Beautifully decorated and clearly a lot of love has gone into the place. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, I always worry that a pub could be cliquey but it was far from it. Great menu, great service, great atmosphere. I’m hoping to go back and try the roast soon.
