Family birthday so we decided to treat her to a Sunday roast having been here many times before ourselves . A choice of chicken, beef, lamb or vegan option are available . Owners Russ and Celeste were very accommodating of our table decorations and balloons . The birthday girl said it was the best roast she’d ever had and I’ve never seen her eat so much to be fair . They never disappoint with the size , quality and price of food . The best roast dinner around and and amazing hospitality . A place we now like to call our local .

Hosted my 60 birthday here last night. Venue, food and service were excellent . The owners couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend for a private party

Where customers really are treated like royalty

Fantastic spot – owners are lovely and really do treat customers like royalty. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Came for Christmas dinner this year, which I was apprehensive about, but could not fault it! Celeste did a wonderful job on the food, everything was so tasty. Russ is always ready to fill glasses with drinks, and have a chat with customers. Love this place! Would recommend to anybody.

At the Old Palace, where everyone gets treated like royalty. We offer private hire of our whole venue (80 people), half venue (30-40 people) and also our exclusive private function space The Edmund Room (8-25 people) along with areas of our beer garden throughout the sunny months.
